The Saltillo Lions and the Saltillo Lady Lions competed at track meets at Union Hill Thursday (April 5).
The Lions were fifth as a team. Individually, Trevor Moore was first in the 400-meter run, first in the 1600-meter run and third in the 800-meter run. Jayden Holloway was first in the 3200-meter run and second in the 1600-meter run. Levi Hoover was second in the shot put. Chris Boekhorst participated in the discuss and shot put.
For the Lady Lions, Sienna Collins was first in the 3200-meter run and first in the 1600-meter run. Danielle Ross was fourth in the 3200-meter run and third in the 1600-meter run. Chandler Bain was fourth in the 300-meter hurdles. Lions and Lady Lions’ track athletes who qualify will compete next at Area meets.
