Just like the first meeting though, one bad quarter was too much for the Wildcats to overcome Friday night in Longview. Coach Cipoletta Hopes for Better Results Friday Hosting Greenville
Sensing his team was down after a 71-46 loss to Mt. Pleasant Tuesday night, Wildcats Basketball Coach Clark Cipoletta had a talk with his team. He said he encouraged them to worry more about getting better and playing their best than just wins and losses. The Wildcats are hoping for better results at home Friday as they host Greenville. The Wildcats have opened district with an 0-2 record. They are 5-14 for the season.
Lady Cats BB Team Holds 2nd and Final Scrimmage
The Lady Cats’ basketball team will have their second and final scrimmage this week and then will open the regular season. Mineola will scrimmage the Lady Cats on Tuesday in Wildcats Gym. The Varsity scrimmage is set to get underway at 7 p.m. Right now the schedule calls for the Lady Cats to open the regular season Friday night at 6:30 p.m. at home against Clarksville.
Wildcat Round Ballers Hold 2nd and Final Scrimmage
The Wildcats’ basketball team, minus players that will join the team after football season, will have their second and final scrimmage this week. On Thursday, the Wildcats will welcome Denison into Wildcats Gym. The JV and Varsity scrimmage will get underway at 5 p.m. The Wildcats don’t open the regular season until November 25, as Wills Point will come to town to face the Wildcats.
