The Wildcats’ basketball team once again gave Longview all they wanted for three quarters out of four. Just like the first meeting though, one bad quarter was too much for the Wildcats to overcome Friday night in Longview. The Lobos outscored the Wildcats 24-9 in the third quarter and ended up with a 68-52 win. The Wildcats slip to 4-9 in district play. They end the season on Senior Night Tuesday as they host Marshall.

The Wildcats’ soccer team lost a heart breaker at home Friday night, 2-1 to Texas High in overtime. The Tigers scored the winning goal with just about two minutes left in the second overtime period. Chris Espinoza scored the Wildcats lone goal. The Wildcats are now 2-4 in district play with three of the losses by a single goal. The Wildcats complete the first half of district play with a match at Hallsville Tuesday night.
