WILDCATS SOCCER
The Wildcats’ soccer team lost another close district game Friday night as Texas High got a late goal in a second overtime period to defeat the Wildcats, 2-1 at Prim Stadium. I talked with Wildcats Soccer Coach Andy Holt after the game.
LADY CATS BASKETBALL
The Lady Cats’ basketball team meets John Tyler in a bi-district game at Lindale Monday night at 7 p.m. The Lady Cats won three games in a row to close out district play and grabbed the fourth and final playoff spot. The Lady Cats seem to be playing with a lot of confidence right now. Lady Cats Coach Jeff Chapman talked with the John Tyler game on KSST and Channel 18’s Saturday Morning Coaches Show on Saturday.
WILDCATS BASKETBALL
The Wildcats’ basketball team lost to Longview 68-52 in Longview Friday night. For the second team this season, the Wildcats played with the Lobos for three of the four quarters. A poor third quarter did the Wildcats in Friday night. Wildcats Basketball Coach Clark Cipoletta discussed the Longview loss and the senior night district finale coming up at home against Marshall Tuesday on KSST and Channel 18’s Saturday Morning Coaches Show on Saturday.
