“Updated” SSHS Band Practice Underway
Right now the Sulphur Springs High School Wildcats Marching Band has about 135 members. That’s as large as it’s been in a long long time. John Pearce, a 1965 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, who wrote a book on the early history of Wildcats football, recently published a book called, “Ever Remember”, based on a diary written by his grandmother, Alma Caldwell. She was 16 at the time she wrote about Sulphur Springs’ life from June 1913 to June 1914. Here is some information Sulphur Springs School Superintendent Mike Lamb made about the school and county Auditorium agreement approved by both entities Monday.
