Garden Tilled for County Jail Vegetable Garden
As ground was being tilled by equipment furnished by Precinct 4, work began on a county jail vegetable garden located on county land just outside the Sulphur Springs City limits. Hopkins County Sheriff-elect Lewis Tatum is seeking to save the cost of inmate meals by planting a garden that will provide vegetables for the meals. We want to express our sympathy to the family of Leroy Reaves. His funeral service was held on Wednesday morning, at the Tira Methodist Church, under the direction of Delta Funeral Home.
