City Tax Rate Will Remain The Same; Water, Sewer Fees Will Increase In Coming Year

The city of Sulphur Springs is proposing a $30.5 million budget for fiscal year 2020. The city budget is projected to fund routine operations as well as a few projects without having to raise the city tax rate above the current 44-cents per $100 property valuation, according to Sulphur Springs City Manager Marc Maxwell.
