Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce will have a business afterhours event at KSST, 717 Shannon Road. KSST is celebrating 68 years of service to the community and 50 years of that service in the current location. The studios will be open from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. July 23rd. Meredith Caudle, Chamber Manager, said the KSST Studios are spectacular and the public should take advantage of the opportunity to visit the studios as well giving opportunity for chamber members to as network with new and old members.

Hopkins County took a group of 20 4-H members and leaders to Lakeview Baptist Conference Center in Lone Star for three days of activities, workshops, team building sessions, and recreation. Childrens’ Summer Workshop hosted by Sulphur Springs Community Players will present two plays in July at Main Street Theater. Connor and David Woody will direct both, The Best Christmas Pageant Every and Becoming Claus. One can see both plays on one ticket. Performances are set for July 16-18 and July 23-25 at 7 p.m. And Sunday July 19, and July 26 at 2 p.m. This is the 23rd consecutive year for the Children’s Summer Workshop and the 35th year for Community Players in Sulphur Springs.
