Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ This year we will be having our Vacation Bible School on July 27-29 at 7p.m. The theme for this year will be: TEAM POSSIBLE. We will have class for all ages and are encouraging to come out and support the event. 2015 OUTDOOR KIDS CAMP Texas Parks and Wildlife has promoted the theme of “LIFE IS BETTER OUTSIDE!”. And how true that theme is! Studies show that a person who spends time outside are usually healthier, does better in school, and affects them cognitively and behaviorally. 2015 Red, White and Blue Extravaganza

Tom Sellers, President of Alliance Bank and sponsor of the Independence Day Concert visited KSST to invite the entire community to the free once-a-year event. The 2015 red, white and blue extravaganza will be held on Saturday June 27 at 8pm on Celebration Plaza. In addition to the orchestra performance, a huge fireworks display is also planned. It’a a free event and a gift to the families of the community. The event will be carried live on KSST Radio  and seen in playback on Suddenlink Channel 18 TV.

Dairy Festival Recipe Contest Cancelled

If you were waiting until the last minute to register for the Hopkins County Dairy Festival Recipe contest, you waited too long. Only five individuals entered recipes in the Dairy Recipe contest, so it has been cancelled.  This is the second year for cancellation of the contest according to Johana Hicks, with the Texas A & M AgriLife Extension Office. Once again the cancellation was due to the low number of entries. Hicks had hoped the contest would recover this year due to the fact that several had commented on social media their regret...
