The Northeast Texas Children’s Museum is pleased to introduce a new event for children in northeast Texas. The first Children’s Health Fair will be held at the Children’s Museum on Saturday, January 16 from 9:30 to 11:30. The event will include free admission. Hands-on activities will highlight children’s health. For example, after exercise children will compare their oxygen level and pulse rate to their resting levels using oximeters. The past weekend saw a unique surprise for people who attended Christmas events with families at the Celebration Plaza and Heritage Park. Four Sulphur Springs High School choir members were chosen to be carolers for December 3-5.
