Senior Center Line Dancing To Be Returning
Feb. 3, 2023- Starting starting Feb. 8 the Sulphur Springs Senior Citizen Center is bringing back line dancing. Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month the Senior Center will be hosting line dancing with Marion Cox from Shadow Ranch for all those who want to join in on the fun. Meal-A-Day Winter Weather Closure
Meal-A-Day will be closed Tuesday, January 31, 2023 due to safety concerns about the weather. Meal-A-Day has chosen to pause the operation to maintain the safety of their volunteers and partners. At this time, Meal-a-Day is anticipating closure on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, as well. If you are in need of additional food Meal-A-Day will be providing non-perishable items at the senior center today.

AARP Tax-Filing Help 2023
January 19, 2023 – From February 7th to April 15th, AARP will be offering free tax-filing assistance for all those in need. Every Tuesday and Saturday appointments will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and 9:30 to 12:30 on Saturdays at the Sulphur Springs Library. Work Begins at the New Senior Center
Work has begun at the new Senior Center here in Sulphur Springs. A crew started dirt work on the Oak Ave site this week. This project has been in the works for several years.
