At tryouts Thursday night, three drum majors and twelve color guard members for the Wildcats’ band were selected for next school year. The Saltillo Lady Lions’ softball team lost to Bloomburg, 20-13 in a bi-district playoff game Thursday night. Both teams scored two runs in the first inning. Warrant Served While Speaking with Investigator at Police Station

April 28, 2017 – While William Ryan Miller, 26, of Sulphur Springs was speaking with a Sulphur Springs Police Department investigator at the city police station, an officer was notified that Miller was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Endangering a Child, a State Jail Felony. Miller was arrested at that time. Miller is in Hopkins County jail charged with Endangering a Child and is being held on a $30,000 bond.
