Memphis Man Arrested When Large Amount of Controlled Substance Found in His Vehicle
Terance Terell (sic) Sanders, 48, of Memphis, Tennessee, is in Hopkins County Jail following a DPS traffic stop Sunday afternoon. Following a search of his vehicle a large amount of white power substance believed to be cocaine was located in the vehicle. Sanders is in Hopkins County Jail charged with Manufacture Deliver Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, more than 400-grams. He is held on a $30,000 bond.
Cumby Traffic Stop Apprehends Fugitive
A traffic stop at the 108 mile marker on I-30 resulted in the arrest of Demitri Raymon Lewis, 22. The Cumby Police officer became suspicious when he found that Lewis “…had lied about his identity because he had warrants out for his arrest” according to the report. Round two was a much better day for the LadyCats. As a team we shot 426 which is one of our best round of the year. This got us a third place finish. Senior Emma Lane shot a 123, sophomore Addison White shot 112, sophomore Alyssa Underwood shot 104, and Freshman Mariam Tran shot 87.
