The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Hopkins County continued to spike this week. Hopkins County Judge Robert Newsom announced 13 new positive COVID-19 cases for Hopkins County at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4. That follows a day in which 12 new cases and 30 recoveries were reported.
