Sulphur Springs Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of Child

August 30, 2017 – Mejia Abraham Martinez, 22, of Sulphur Springs went to the Sheriff’s Office to be interviewed in reference to sexual assault allegations on Thursday at 9:13 p.m. He confessed to having sex with a child who was under 14-years of age. Martinez is in Hopkins County Jail charged with a Felony 2 Sexual Assault and is being held on a $75,000 bond.
