The Wildcats Marching Band went to its second contest of the season Monday at Mineola and again made the finals. Band Director Charles McCauley said it was a hot day, perhaps the hottest he can remember for a contest. The chase began with DPS attempting to make a traffic stop on an auto in Hunt County but it ended around 10:06 p.m. Monday night following a manhunt in Hopkins County. Local Man Arrested on Indictments for Delivery of Marijuana
Following a lengthy investigation by the local Special Crimes Unit, Melvin Williams, 60, 0f Sulphur Springs was arrested Monday for two counts of Delivery of Marijuana. Both are a State Jail Felony. Williams’ warrants were a result of indictments.
