Man Dies from Wound as Law Enforcement Now Awaits Autopsy Report in Apparent Murder/Suicide

The body of Stephen Roy Wyatt, 60, of Sulphur Springs has been sent to the medical examiner’s office in Dallas Tuesday afternoon, according to Sulphur Springs Chief of Police Jay Sanders. Sanders said Wyatt was removed from life support around 10 a.m. Monday.  His death follows an incident at his home Sunday that preliminary investigation shows a murder/suicide. Electrical Outage Affects 1,058 Oncor Customers Monday; Expected Restoration Time 4 p.m.

According to Oncor about 1,058 customers are without electrical power in the Sulphur Springs area. The primary area of outage is along South Broadway (reports of outage on west side of South Broadway) and along State Highway 11 in the Martin Springs area.  Oncor expects electrical power to be restored to the outage area around 4 p.m.
