The Hopkins County 4H kids from four chapters invited to Tuesday’s (July 1st) Day Camp at Heritage Park were promised crafts and games, a step back in time. The 4her’s tried their hands at tin punch, making butter, woodworking and the centuries old art of paper decorating called quilling. Second Annual Tomato Festival
The second annual Tomato Festival will take place at the Celebration Market Saturday evening, July 5th on the Plaza. Those who bring three samples can have tomatoes judged in pear, cherry and large categories. In addition there will be a tomato recipe and dish preparation contest for main dish, side dish, salad and salsa with divisions for all age groups. By Don Julian, KSST News and Sports Director
