Flag Lowered to Half-Staff Honor Peace Officers Memorial Day Monday, May 15, 2017
On the morning of Monday, May 15 at 8 a.m.,the Hopkins County Detachment of the Marine Corps League will lower all flag at the Veterans Memorial to half-staff in Honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day. All Hopkins County Peace Officers have been invited to attend. All Flags will be raised to full-staff at 5:30 p.m. the same day.

Sophomore Lady Cat hurdler Abbi Baier finished fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at the State Track Meet in Austin Friday night. Baier’s time was 44.75 seconds, her best time ever.
