Cancer Support Group to Meet with Guest Speaker Amy Newsom, APRN, FNP-C
May 1, 2026 – Sulphur Springs, Texas – The Hopkins County Breast Cancer Support Group will meet on Monday, May 11, for their monthly meeting. These inspirational meetings are held on the second Monday of every month at 5:30 pm in the Medical Plaza, 113 Airport Rd.
Women who have or have had any kind of cancer are welcome. Ladies who have had skin cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, and more are represented. The group exists to provide a place for women to encourage one another and bond over their shared experiences.
The guest speaker for May’s meeting is Amy Newsom, APRN, FNP-C. Newsom helps patients navigate new or recurrent cancer diagnoses through personalized 1:1 coaching, integrating natural and holistic strategies with standard of care treatments for improved outcomes. Newsom empowers patients by supporting the whole body before, during, and after treatment with compassionate care.
Meetings include a time for prayer requests, introductions, refreshments, and celebration. Attendees are welcome to bring a friend.
