Michael Denly Johnson, 24, (address unknown) was stopped by a Hopkins County Deputy for a traffic violation at Highway 19N and FM 71 around 11 p.m. Sunday night. Cumby Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault After Biting Off Finger of Roommate
Joshua Davis Farris, 35, of Cumby, was arrested for Aggravated Assault Family Violence shortly after midnight Monday. Farris admitted biting off the finger of his roommate. Other bites were evident on the victim. The roommate was airlifted for medical treatment. When the arresting officer arrived at the scene, Farris was beating on the front door and covered in blood.
