Joshua Davis Farris, 35, of Cumby, was arrested for Aggravated Assault Family Violence shortly after midnight Monday. Farris admitted biting off the finger of his roommate. Other bites were evident on the victim.

The roommate was airlifted for medical treatment.
When the arresting officer arrived at the scene, Farris was beating on the front door and covered in blood.
Farris (not picture available) is in Hopkins County Jail being held on a $100,000 bond.
