Three inmates in Hopkins County Jail have had charges added following the completion of an investigation by the Special Crimes Unit into possession and sale of methamphetamine by each individual. Winnsboro Police Report December 31, 2018-January 6, 2019
During the report period December 31, 2018 through January 6, 2019, Winnsboro Police made no arrests, reported two accidents, responded to 112 calls for service, issued 19 citations, and wrote 50 warnings. A two vehicle accident at West Broadway and Walnut and a two vehicle accident at Broadway and Main were reported. There were no injuries reported in the accidents.

The Saltillo Lady Lions went to 2-0 in district play with a lopsided 89-3 win over Union Hill on Saturday (January 5).
