EAA Young Eagles Rally A Soaring Success
Ben Scarborough, a private pilot and member of the Sulphur Springs Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter, reported 14 volunteer pilots consistently taking kids up, during the EAA’s Young Eagles Rally at Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport on Saturday April 27. A small plane crashed off County Road 4763, just north of Suphur Springs, late Saturday morning. No one was injured in the crash, according to law enforcement reports. The pilot, who is not from Hopkins County, was reportedly testing out the plane.
