The Wildcats’ basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter to take a narrow, 69-65 win over Pine Tree on the road in the district opener for both teams Tuesday afternoon. King Awards
Numerous members of the community will be receiving the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Awards in 34 different categories at an awards celebration on January 16. The awards celebration will take place at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at 208 Fuller in Sulphur Springs. Infinity 4-H at Tractor Supply Raising Funds for a Trip to Houston.
Come by Tractor Supply Saturday December 17th from 11AM to 2PM. They are selling Hot-dogs, Drinks, and wrapping gifts for a Donation. Infinity 4-H is taking part in a Science Fair and Public Speaking Competition in Houston.
Hopkins County Beekeepers Meet to Share and Learn
The Hopkins County Beekeepers met in winter temperatures to discus more spring and summer like activity. A pre-meeting Q&A session ranged from mites to chemical to beetles. The main program was provided by Texas Beekeepers Association member Roger Farr. HCB member skills range from first year beginners to seasoned veterans.
