The Saltillo Lady Lions lost a regional quarterfinal game, 44-37 to Slidell Tuesday evening. The game was tied at 10 after the first quarter and Slidell led by only 2 points at halftime. The Sulphur Springs High School Class of 1950 made a donation towards a NEW Senior Citizens Center. They made the donation in Memory of Juanita Wallace. Juanita was their classmate and a LONG time Volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center. 17 high school teams will descend upon Sulphur Springs to take part in the annual Sulphur Springs Varsity Softball Tournament taking place Thursday through Saturday.
