Saltillo’s Fourth Quarter Scoring Keeps District Season Record Perfect
The Saltillo Lions remained unbeaten in district play but it wasn’t easy Tuesday night. The Lions edged by Sulphur Bluff, 43-38. Sulphur Bluff led 9-8 after one quarter and 20-17 at halftime. The Wildcats’ soccer team took a hard loss, 2-1 in Greenville Tuesday night on the road. The Lions scored both of their goals on penalty kicks. The Wildcats had a penalty kick blocked.
