Clyde Ray Alexander was born July 10, 1948 to the late Rev. Cleveland Alexander Sr. and Rosa Lee Harrison Alexander in Hopkins County, Sulphur Springs, TX. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He attended public school in Sulphur Springs and graduated from Douglas High School in 1966.
