Bright Future For Wildcats Tennis Team
New Wildcats Team Tennis Coach Tony Martinez sees a bright future for the program. He’s very happy with what he saw from players at tennis camp last week. The first day of practice for this Team Tennis season took place Tuesday. Players competed in matches to determine seeding. District play begins before the month is up. New Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez had a good turnout as 40 to 45 kids attended the first day of his five-day tennis camp. The last Sulphur Springs ISD sports camp takes place this week. New Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez will have tennis camp Monday through Friday. Camp for younger kids will be in the morning with camp for older ones in the afternoon. Children from Kindergarten through sixth grades will have camp from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. with students entering 7th through the 12th grades having camp from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Cost is $50.
