February 18, 2025 – Due to the threat of severe winter weather, the Sulphur Springs ISD will delay the start of school for all campuses. School will start at 10 AM on Wednesday. Stay tuned for additional information on the artic blast headed our way.

May 9, 2023- Sulphur Springs ISD Board of Trustees met Monday May 8th. During their regular monthly meeting several personnel changes were announced. Three Schools Announce Early Release And No School
Sulphur Springs ISD, Como-Pickton ISD and Miller Grove ISD have made the decision to release their students early today due to the intense cold weather and the possibility of the roads freezing over due to cold weather. Sulphur Springs and Como-Pickton will be releasing students at 12 P.M. today, Miller Grove will be releasing students at 12:30 P.M. today. All classes have been canceled for Tuesday.

Registration is now open for the Sulphur Springs ISD Summer Day Camp 2022 for school-aged children from 5 to 11 years old. The Sulphur Springs ISD 2022-2023 school calendar was approved this week on a 6-1 vote of the school board, with trustee John Prickette citing a need for more classroom instructional days when voting against the calendar as proposed.
