Right now the Sulphur Springs High School Wildcats Marching Band has about 135 members. The Wildcats’ basketball team, minus players that will join the team after football season, will have their second and final scrimmage this week. On Thursday, the Wildcats will welcome Denison into Wildcats Gym. The JV and Varsity scrimmage will get underway at 5 p.m. The Wildcats don’t open the regular season until November 25, as Wills Point will come to town to face the Wildcats.
