Summer heat has arrived. I am so glad it hasn’t reached 100 maybe one time so far. Take it easy because heat stroke can creep up on you real quick. The Tira Homecoming was held on Sunday, July 6th. Our gathering was smaller than normal and we missed those who couldn’t attend. Martha Payton shares, “We thank those that sent their donations by mail, plus it is always heart warming to read your notes and letters.” She reports that the regular contributions were $4,444.00 and a special offering, toward clearing more land for plots in the future, totaled $1,681.00.
