63-year old Charles Ray Miller of Waco, who was sentenced to ten twenty-year prison terms on ten counts of indecency with a child by contact last month, was transferred from the Hopkins County Jail to the Texas Department of Corrections early Wednesday morning. This year Wildcats Marching Band Director Charles McCauley decided to increase band practice two hours a day starting it at 2 p.m. instead of 4 p.m. McCauley said the extra two hours have been used to practice music.
