Hopkins County Commissioners Court Friday morning offered appreciation to Mickey and Barbara McKenzie for the painting they donated to Hopkins County Courthouse. A painting created by Josey Butler during the last Hopkins County Freedom Ball in memory of the 13 soldiers killed when the US pulled out of Kabul, Afghanistan. At 5 p.m. July 22, Hopkins County Emergency Management officials reported they’d received notification of 3 new COVID-19 cases for Hopkins County. That brings the total of COVID-19 cases for Hopkins County to 133 cumulative cases since March.
