Bernard Carl White, age 91, of Emory, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 16, 2014, at Senior Suite Care and Rehab. Mr. White was born in Pittsburg, PA, on April 28, 1923, to Chauncey and Helen Sloan White. He served his country in the U.S. Navy,as a torpedo bomber pilot during WWII, in the Battle of Marianas Strait. Later with the Anti-Submarine Warfare serving as a pilot.
