Gun And Knife Show This Weekend!
August 6th and 7th there will be a Gun and Knife Show at the Hopkins County Civic Center. You can buy, sale, and trade your guns and knifes. The times are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be 150 tables that will be well advertised. Two Hopkins County Dixie softball teams will start World Series play in Alexandria, Louisiana on Saturday. Both the 9 and 10 year old Hopkins County Angels and the 11 and 12 year old Hopkins County Pony Tails won Texas State Championship tournaments and will be playing in Louisiana. Wildcat Football Coach Greg Owens will have football camp Tuesday through Thursday in the Multipurpose Building.
