Hopkins County Regional Civic Center was abuzz with activity Thursday afternoon and Friday morning as 257 FFA and 4-H exhibitors prepared and presented their 300 projects for the Junior Market Livestock Show. The Junior Market Livestock Show is a Hopkins County annual event that features youth and their projects in both showmanship and project categories. John Sellers, Vice President of Programs for the Hopkins County Genealogical Society, stopped by the Afternoon Drive Wednesday to discuss the society’s monthly meeting and all that the society has to offer. The meetings, which are free to attend and open to the public, are held at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Sulphur Springs Public Library.
