The National Weather Service will be in town for a free severe weather training session. In 2019, North and Central Texas experienced 40 tornadoes and several damaging straight-line wind events. These storms resulted in millions of dollars of damage. Early in their soccer game in the Pine Tree Lady Pirate Showcase Thursday afternoon, the Lady Cats Soccer Team was doing okay against Jacksonville. Lady Cats Coach Javier Aguayo said the Lady Cats were keeping possession of the ball for the first ten minutes of the match. Then he said after that, it all fell apart.
