Two local family-owned food vendors had a desire to help a local worthy cause during the holidays. The Meal a Day program was selected, and during the Christmas weekend, the families assisted the Meal a Day program with a unique food drive on Saturday December 22, 2018. On a lovely Autumn evening, several dozen persons gathered for the “Walk to Remember” Alzheimer’s Walk in the Gardens at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs. Support is strong locally for the Terrific Tuesdays Alzheimer’s Respite Program.
