Local facilities have not been given the go-ahead yet to proceed with visitations even though the state released the press release below allowing visitations. The regional liasons and their staff will still need to provide the visitation criteria and testing criteria for our local facilities before visitations will be allowed. The silver alert issued for a missing 72-year-old Hopkins County man has been cancelled. William Downard was reported to have been “located safety” early Sunday morning, according to Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office. A silver alert was issued for Downard Saturday morning, July 25.
