18 lbs of Suspected Meth Found in Traffic Stop
Multiple signs of nervousness shown by a driver during a traffic stop Monday at the 138 mile marker on I-30 led the Hopkins County deputy to seek consent to search the vehicle. The result of the search was 18 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, according to Hopkins County Sheriff Lewis Tatum. Wildcat Golf Continues Preparation for District Tourney
After lots of rainy and cold weather , the Wildcats’ golf team made up for lost time by playing the grueling Twisted 54 Tournament in Longview last week. Two Wildcats’ powerlifters qualified for the state meet at a regional meet at Lindale Saturday. D’Idrec Dugan won the 242 pound weight class to qualify.
