Significant weather advisory for Hopkins, Rains and Van Zandt Counties. At 10:33 p.m. Doppler Radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm along a line extending from near Greenville to Kaufman to Hillsboro with movement east at 40 mph. Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms. Lightning is also a hazard.

With 714 in-person votes cast Friday, the last day for early voting, 6,690 votes have been cast in the November 6th Mid-term Election.
