A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Hopkins and surrounding counties until 2 a.m. Sunday morning. A line of thunderstorms is moving into the area from Oklahoma. There is a chance of severe weather including severe hail, damaging wind, and possible embedded tornadoes within the line. Heavy rainfall may also result in localized flash flooding.
