Police officers were downtown when Terence Ramon Beachem, 46, of Sulphur Springs intentionally rammed the vehicle driven by the son of his girlfriend. Beachem had made threats to assault his girlfriend and the son prior to the incident. Following the crash Beachem fled and seeing that he was pursued by police continued his flight on foot. There will be no sentence for 17 year old Gavin Wayne Gilbert until Monday. Gilbert was found guilty of murder Friday,August 10, 2018, shortly after 11 a.m. Gilbert is guilty of first degree murder of Tyrese Pryor, 18, of Sulphur Springs.
