Meal-A-Day Winter Weather Closure
Meal-A-Day will be closed Tuesday, January 31, 2023 due to safety concerns about the weather. Meal-A-Day has chosen to pause the operation to maintain the safety of their volunteers and partners. At this time, Meal-a-Day is anticipating closure on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, as well. If you are in need of additional food Meal-A-Day will be providing non-perishable items at the senior center today.

January 27th, 2023 – Eric Montreal Anderson a.k.a. EBG-Ejizzle, a resident on Memphis, TN was brought back to Hopkins County by Sheriff’s deputies on several outstanding warrants. Hopkins County Commissioner’s Court To Expand Fireworks Sale
The Hopkins County Commissioner’s Court during a recent meeting has unanimously decided to expand the dates that fireworks can be sold in Hopkins County. This decision will allow registered firework distributors to sell fireworks on three additional holidays.
