The Saltillo Lions lost and the Saltillo Lady Lions won in varsity action against Yantis on Friday (January 5). The Lions were defeated 53-43 by the Owls. The #9 ranked Lady Cats’ basketball team hung on by their fingernails in the fourth quarter and came out of top of Texas High, 47-44 Friday night in Texarkana.
