According to DPS accident report, Stephen F. Sherman, 59, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on FM 269, the vehicle went off the roadway and hit a culvert which caused the vehicle to roll over and eject Sherman. August 1, 2023 – Melissa Kathleen Page was arrested at the Adult Probation office after being notified of warrants for her arrest. Melissa Kathleen Page, 2023 Page was taken into custody and transported to Hopkins County Jail without incident. A Honey Grove firefighter has died from his injuries sustained in an on-duty vehicle accident on July 9, 2023.
