Tyrone Ivery and Derick Dial Tout Free App For Athletes and Recruiters
Two Hopkins County men are touting a free App that gets athletes and sports recruiters together. The App is called The Recruiters Black Book and it was started last April by Tyrone Ivery. Derick Dial soon joined the project with Ivery. Ivery said he discovered the need for the App after hearing stories from his nephew Willie Ivery, who committed to the University of North Texas in football out of Sulphur Springs High School....

The Como-Pickton Eagles of Head Football Coach Charles Swann are picked to finish fourth in their five-team District 6-2A, Division I by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine. The Eagles went 4-6 last year including a bi-district loss to Collinsville and they had a 1-3 district record.
