Vandergriff - Original PictureMemorial services for Consuelo Lois Vandergriff, age 88 of Blooming Grove, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Durwin Hohertz officiating.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Consuelo Lois passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Twilight Nursing Home in Corsicana.  She was born on April 26, 1927 in Erie, PA the daughter of Clyde and Eloise (Rowe) Bacon.  She married William Earl “Van” Vandergriff.  He preceded her in death in 2001.  Consuelo Lois was a retired bank teller and a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Pickerill and husband, Clyde of Sulphur Springs; sons, Steven Vandergriff and wife, Vonnie of Blooming Grove and Bobby Vandergriff and wife, Lena of Almo, WI; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kent Vandergriff; one brother and three sisters.
