Emcees Announced for Hopkins County Health Care Foundation’s Mingo

March 30, 2026 – Sulphur Springs, TX – Plans are well underway for The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation’s third annual Mingo to be held on Thursday, April 9. It will be a fun night of bingo, camaraderie, and prizes.

As with all Foundation events, Mingo depends on the kind volunteers who donate their time to work the event. There are volunteer opportunities to show off prizes, work at the bar, sell extras, pass out food, etc.

Two special volunteers spend their night drawing bingo balls, encouraging the crowd, verifying wins, and making the night enjoyable. The emcees are invaluable to the process. Each year, the Foundation selects two ladies with Foundation ties to fill these positions. For the upcoming Mingo, the Foundation is pleased to share that Sharla Campbell and Jessica Kultgen will be the emcees.

Jessica is a current member of the Foundation Board of Directors. She is in her third term on the Board. Sharla is a former Chair of the Foundation, having served two terms. Volunteer Sharla Campbell shared why she is a Mingo volunteer. “I am so excited for this night. This will fund a valuable clinic for men in our community, and I am glad I can help make that possible. This is what neighbors do to help their neighbors.”
